Snow and then some! (Part One)
In the early morning hours
Before the rush and plowers
A perfect moment of stillness
Nature white and flawless
Staring in awe
At the most beautiful picture
I ever saw

“Good girls go to heaven, but bad girls go to Hellsinki”
Hakaniemi (Sightseeing and Walkabout) Two
The notorious part of the town
Clad in a glorious white gown
Don’t let the history fool you
Sit down on a bench for the view
Beautiful in summer or winter
No longer a sore splinter
Of the great city of Helsinki

“Good girls go to heaven, but bad girls go to Hellsinki”
Hakaniemi, One
Travelling in my home country, Finland and in the exotic capital of Helsinki. For this week I have chosen the (in)famous Hakaniemi, a stone throw away from the City Centre. Or you can just take the Metro or tram to reach Hakaniemi in four minutes from the Central Railway Station 😉
Enjoy!
In honour of Caturday, for all cats everywhere
Poetry, Song and Photography
“You know, from my point of view, I’m the luckiest cat on the planet” Hugh Hefner
Caturday, 2016-01-23
Cats, cats, cats
I see a lots of cats
Cats over there
And cats over here
Even more cats
They are everywhere
Oh, look at the pretty cat
In the window there
What window, where?
Over there, over here
Even more cats
They are everywhere

“Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art” Ansel Adams
Moon, Moon, where art thou?
Moon, moon
Where art thou moon?
Come out from your hiding
On the nightly path guiding
Before off the trail
I go slipping and sliding

“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence” Ansel Adams
Ready for the Close-up
Getting closer and closer
A little more closer
Almost close enough
For an object to touch
But wait, time to hesitate
The cactus with mighty thorns
May your fingers scorn
Before you loose
Better choose
The creamy strawberries
With their pals blueberries
A tasty treat
Without any meat
Some eye candy to complete
With a red amaryllis ever so sweet
