When the black cat
Was crossing the street
She was chasing a rat
Trying to act discreet
Hiding behind a big hat
Awaiting her treat

The grounded bat
Knew he tasted sweet
Stood still on the mat

Both standing still
Trying to act hostile
But without thrill

They decided in mutual
