In this time and space
A peaceful resting place
Before the world again to face

The sky and clouds
Like a cool blue shroud
Woven across glass and steel
Looks as cold as it feels
But if you touch the surface
You are in for a surprise

Queen Elizabeth II marks her 90th birthday on Thursday as Britons and many throughout the world celebrate her long and dignified reign. She will celebrate again in June with national events to mark her official birthday.
