Clockwork Apple for Freaky Friday I two

Clockwork Apple

clock

The Clock

Tick-tock, tick-tock
By the turning, of the clock
This rhyme was meant to shock
But, there really is no plot
If this was what you thought
And this place was not what you sought
Maybe you’ll say “thanks a lot!”
And feeling quite distraught
Never mind, fear not
Added, a few twists and a knot
But ended with this one shot
Neither story, nor plot
So what!

It’s About As Funny As A Root Canal for TBT

It’s About As Funny As A Root Canal

You know
That feeling
Lying
In the chair
Thinking
Life
Is not fair

Staring
At the ceiling
Anticipating
Sweat
Covering
Your skin
Waiting for
The drilling
To begin
The sound
Resonating
In your skull

Totally bound
With feelings
Of dull
Contemplating
An escape
Looking
At the window
Wishing
For a cape
Like a superhero
Flying away

No time
The Dentist
Hovering
Covering
Your eyes
With sunglasses
Working
In a quick pace
Before I
Can plot my
Break

My mind
Wandering to
Molasses?
Am I
Loosing it?
Completely
Sugar
Would be
The last thing
I needed

Mouth
Agape
Drooling
Like an ape
Fooling
Not a chance
In a deep
Trance
Or a drug endused
State

After all
Is done
Wishing
I had
A gun
Somehow
Cooling down
Getting up
Staggering
Reeling
A sick
Feeling

A glance
In the mirror
Spittle
And blood
On my face
Must be
An error
Covering
My head
With a hood

Leaving quickly
No looking
Back
Oh what
A quack
Never mind
It’s all over
Until
Next time

When
You hear
It’s as funny
As A root canal
Time to fear
And run
As fast
As you
Can

Cats ans Dogs

Cats and Dogs
Put them in a box
What secrets untold
Before you unfold
When the box is opened
Only keep hoping
There is no other agenda
Are they friends or enemies
Or just plain frenemies
That is the age old dilemma
Of Cats and Dogs

The Apple

If you’ve eaten a red apple
A hold of you it will grapple
There is no use to struggle
For the Evil Queen known to few
Has gotten, a tight hold on you

Mistrust is such an Ugly Word for TBT

“Trust dies but mistrust blossoms” Sophocles

trust

Mistrust is such an Ugly Word

My poor little mistrusting thing
Think ,what joy a friend may bring
Together sharing your precious blings
Laughing when playing in the swing

Trust is a difficult thing
You say quicker than the clock could ding
I am afraid of the sting
Even if it means alone I would sing

Your world may not always be on a string
And you may not always be the king
But if you want that bell to ring
Spread out far your wings
And in the chorus you may sing
