Sunken ships, hidden treasure?

“Thar be treasure in them sunken ships, Arrrrrrrr!” Gun Roswell

Sunken boats
With hidden treasure inside
So don’t forget
To bring lots of totes
For this adventure
As you’ll never know
What you may just find!

September in Suburbia, the Garden

“This year, the nature won’t fear, the coming of winter, rather dwelling in the warmth of the fall, bringing out all the colours so fabulous.” Gun Roswell

Something about this time of the year
There is no fear, the closeness of it all so real
At least for a while that is
As soon, there will be change in the air
The winter closing in, I fear

Live Long and Prosper!!!

September rain falling

“Surprisingly, in fall, the autumn as it is also called, it does rain, because, the rainy season? At least up in the North, where the author dwells.” Gun Roswell

Rain, rain, rain
Falling down all them plain
The little liquid droplets
On each and every surface
Bringing forth all the colours of autumn
Fully now, as they do blossom

Another sunrise?

“So, this is a surprise for sure! Another sun, is on the rising? Well, at least one up there, but yeah, it’s going to do it again today, so precious much?” Gun Roswell

Sunrise, higher than high
In the early September sky
Over the morning clouds
The sun has spread its shroud
Blues and reds playing in a mix
Eyes staring completely transfixed
The cool crisp air caressing
Almost feels like singing a song
Just because

Sun will rise in Suburbia

“Oh look, the sun is coming up! It’s not the sky falling on us after all, or something worse happening! Just a regular sunrise and here, in suburbia no less!” Gun Roswell

The longer you stand and stare
Into the bright whiteness of a glare
The red gets you and your surroundings into its control
Devouring the sky and maybe even you, whole

An Ode to September

“There is just something about fall, the calmness, even the warmth, the rain soft just before, the storm hits, but not until October. So, stay a while, September?” Gun Roswell

Today
Is one of the many days
For the Autumn month
Of September

You are soft
You are still warm
You are very colourful
Your are certainly plentiful

Did not promise much at start
But apparently, delivering the more
And as such
I truly you adore

A Day spent in Nature never wasted

“What can I say about the nature? Well, it’s there, it’s pretty, it’s got its perks, so maybe you should try it too?” Gun Roswell

Sitting on a swing
Not worrying about a thing
Enjoying the simple life
Without a stinger or a strife
The air almost like silk
Time slowly passing by
Not one trouble in sight

Observing, watching, looking
What is nearby cooking

The hedgehog sipping it’s milk
The squirrel with it’s tail high
A bird gliding in mid flight
The flowers in the wind crooking

The clouds hanging softly in the sky
Exhaling, letting out a sigh
The last rays of sun on the skin
What a perfect fin
For a July summer’s day
The grass in a gentle sway

Autumn Foliage in Bright Colours now!

“Yeah, it’ definitely a bright show out there, with all them colours as provided by Mother Nature!” Gun Roswell

The colours are of plenty
The wind cooling gently
Nature filled with changes
Much like the turning of pages
On your favourite book!

Sunny Days still continued!

“Sometimes, nature will leave you by surprise, continuing sunny warm days long into the fall!” Gun Roswell

Rain, rain, rain
And some more rain
But, wait… what?
Today, no rain?

Surprisingly sunny
To the point of funny
The air soft and warm
I could have sworn
It was late summer
But oh bummer

I wasn’t grinning
Because,
It was the beginning
Of September
