Hotter than hell?

“Soon it will be winter again?” Gun Roswell

The summer finally came after a long wait

A dark and cold winter taunted us long after its expiration date

Minus degrees, snow, ice and sleet

Wondering what we did to deserve this shit

So, finally, blue skies, high as the eagle flies, warmth and happiness, without the snappiness

Or so you would think, because it finally sank in, there is a spin:

It’s hotter than hell, like some daemons spell

The pavement is melting, the walls are welting , I am yelling

Enough, now on with the rain, this warm, it’s making my brain pain

A cool breeze there is not, only hot hot hot

Dry is the grass, dry is the river, dry is my mouth, and I ain’t even a singer

So give the zinger and pour some water, on to this poor land under and its daughter

They say I should not complain, just glad remain

For soon the summer is over and shovelling snow over the shoulder

Is the most dumb task you can do, yelling summer could not be here too soon

But I a built for a climate cold, and this warming up I really getting too old
