Couch Potato

Ouch!

As I was sitting on the couch

Dumbfound as I was

Watching the flicker of the screen

Images, sounds

All of it i had already seen

Too lazy to move a muscle

It seemed a waste of energy

And maybe some channel trickery

After all, the same old repeating

So whom was i kidding

I knew all the lines by heart

Even that one commercial supposedly smart

So why do I keep watching then

When i could be doing the zen?
