The daylight is getting shorter
The darkness is getting longer
The skies are turning into gray
But, nature has a funny way
To cheer us up when we are down
Turn our lips into an upside frown
The colours revealed in abundance
Soon will turn the reluctance
Into joy and wonderment
Stop for this moment
And leave us in an awe
A Late Night Sunset
The eve was about to set
I was once again treated
With a another gorgeous sunset
Today, on this Monday
One of the last days of October
Another Early Morning Sunrise
After the stormy weather and pouring rain
The sun came out to play again
The early October morning, day called Monday
It seems I can start calling it my fun day
Bright, colourful, electric
In this home of eccentrics
Is it just a piece of technic
Or something quite poetic?
Bright and shiny
With colours so lively
Lighting up the mood daily
That’s why I am
Smiling so shyly
Delicious and sweet
And quite the treat
Fruits with cake
Oh for heavens sake!
Just make them eat it honey!
Just another Manic Monday
Certainly not my fun day
Back in the office again
Simply cannot explain
It just happens
Always after weekend
Leaving me baffled
I cannot help myself
And leaves me overwhelmed
I just end up here
In this stratosphere
Called work
The evening falls
The sun is setting
Soon it is time to crawl
Into the bedding
But before that
Taking a few snaps
Of the setting sun
The sun was beckoning
Behind the closed window shades
The outside warm and welcoming
Blue skies and colours splayed
On the tableau drawn by nature
Quite the creator
Of beauty and awe
Almost dropped my jaw
When I stepped outside
And stared with pride
Enjoy life sip by sip, not gulp by gulp” The Minister of Leaves, The Republic of Tea
Slow down
Listen
To the world
Around
Forget
That strife
Just Enjoy
Without a ploy
The simple pleasures,
Purest treasures
Of life
A cup of tea,
Plain and simple
Easy as
Your A, B, C
Soon you’ll see
A dimple
On your cheek
Will sneak
Breathe in
Breathe out
Relinquish
All doubt
Nothing to it
You can do it
Relax a while
It is no guile
Soon enough
The moment
That should have
Forever lasted
Has passed
You are back
On track
Remembering,
Hoping
The moments
Between now
And running out
To the
wide open
Would last
Longer than
A token
