Happy Caturday!
This clip, which appeared on Ms. Gabby, is one of the great cat videos of all time. The cat is named Togepi, it’s a 9-month-old Tabby-Bengal Mix, and it appears to be watching Psycho. I’ve never seen such an intent cat, even one watching a bird. Don’t miss this one! ********* Postize has 16 pictures of […]

Staycation – Summer in Suburbia in Daily Photo series
Summer fun in the near by shopping centre
Bring your mom, dad and even the family spectre
Walk, hike or drive your car
It’s really not that very far
But heed this warning who ever you are:
Once the place of madness you enter
You may end up on a shopping bender
Give away your money and shirt
And later, with a big bill of hurt!

Summer, clouds reflected
Daily routines, neglected
Mind and body effected
By the big yellow light
Shining, high up in the skies

It is the ime, for playing games
It is the time, for naming names
It is the time, to lay our claims
It is the time, which after nothing remains
Ever the same
This is the summer’s game

Summer days in suburbia
Might end up in utter hysteria
With neighbours, staring at you
Simply, because there is nothing to do

When exploring all the unknown places
Watching for any unexplored traces
What ever may come, we’ll gladly embrace it

Staycation, a vacation, of a diffrent kind
Excellent choice, when you just try to unwind
Rain or shine
Just keep rollin with the twine
Life, will be, just fine
Expect, the sun to shine
Go out, to dine
So what, if you only have a dime
You can pretend, you’re a mime
At my station, on the windowsill
I try to sit, oh so very still
Observing, memorizing, mesmorising
Watching the sun set and the sun rising
No hurries, no worries
Time is standing still
I shall enjoy, the summer flurries
Even, if it takes all my power of will!

“The sky is an infinite movie to me.
I never get tired of looking at what’s happening up there”

Red Sky, Sunset on Staycation
Painted,
Red tainted
Clouds,
Almost animated,
On eve,
As the sun,
Leaves
Making,
Its mark
Before,
The dark

Red,
Is the sky
High,
Above my,
Soul,
Which only,
Wants to fly
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” ~ John Lubbock This morning I’m not blogging. I’m sleeping. Sleeping is healing, and […]
