Put Me in a Box, Why don’t You

I may no be the hero type
Or match your idea of a villain
You think I am a complete zero hype
Because I caused you a chilling
Just because in your grand plan
I did not win the grand slam
Stuff me in the smallest locker
It isn’t such a shocker

It’s not the obstacle, it’s a mild hindrance
I will seek and find the entrance

Just because

I can never be part of the conventional stock
Always and forever thinking outside the box

Tea, Earl Grey, Hot (Repost for TBT)

Tea, Earl Grey, Hot

Slow down
Listen
To the world
Around
Forget
That strife
Just Enjoy
Without a ploy
The simple pleasures,
Purest treasures
Of life

A cup of tea,
Plain and simple
Easy as
Your A, B, C
Soon you’ll see
A dimple
On your cheek
Will sneak

Breathe in
Breathe out
Relinquish
All doubt
Nothing to it
You can do it
Relax a while
It is no guile

Soon enough
The moment
That should have
Forever lasted
Has passed
You are back
On track

Remembering,
Hoping
The moments
Between now
And running out
To the
wide open
Would last
Longer than
A token

Ode to My Mac(intosh)

You let out a hum
As I turn you on
I am Flushing
As I am pushing
Your on switch

You light up
Without amok
It’s electric
Almost magnetic
I feel the itch
I am ecstatic

Cannot wait
As you bait
To touch all
Your buttons

Like a glutton
I will call
For you to deliver
As I wait and shiver
Reaching every height
Through your interface
The globe
To integrate

Guess it was love
At first byte

A Visit to the North Pole

“O, how glorious would it be to set my heel upon the Pole and turn myself 360 degrees in a second!” Joseph Banks

A Visit to the North Pole

A quick trip
To the North Pole
A little hop and skip
To the beat of the drum roll

The elves busy at work
Their faces in a permanent smirk
No time for breaks or coffee
Not even a little toffee

The holiday season is upon us
Which has caused all the fuss
Be careful where you step though
You may end up in a pile of snow

Santa’s sleigh
Without delay
Flying over the river
Presents to deliver

Hitch a ride
In a blink of an eye
You’ll be landing
At the front door standing

Was it a dream
So it would seem
But then again
Life is but a dream

“From now on we live in a world where man has walked on the Moon. It’s not a miracle; we just decided to go” Jim Lovell

December Moon, Part Five

Welcome,
To the dark side
Of the moon

They promised
Strong coffee
With an option
Of cream

Half way there
Gave me a scare
What if
There was
No sugar?
Oh bugger!

So what
Coffee black
Is just
As good!

“I am not a person who reaches for the moon as long as I have the stars” Gertrude Ederle

December Moon, Part Four

Echoes of the past
Echoes of the future
Time is moving fast
No later than sooner

Up high
In the sky
Total bliss
When time is
Standing still
If you blink
Even a wink
The moment
Passed you by
Oh how
Time flies

“Look, the moon boss, the moon!”

December moon
You came so soon
Where did you go?
We were looking for you
Already a month ago
Here you are
Shining bright
Did you go far?
Never mind,
You are always
Such a delight!

Behind the soft clouds
