“In a window seat on a plane to nowhere” Gun Roswell
A Snowy Seat by the Seashore
The sun’s shadows of tall
Cast on to the stone wall
Enjoying a moment of silence
In an instant quite timeless
Loosing all defiance
On this frozen
Snow covered bench
“The best seat in the house, but it’s on the outside!” Gun Roswell
A snowy seat for the Sunday day
It may be cold outside
With lots of frosted snow
But as the sun comes from its hide
You need to take it slow
Take a seat for a while
Even if it’s not your style
And simply enjoy with a smile…
But, thank goodness: It’s almost summer now!???
(Just kidding! it’s not even Xmas yet!)

“Best bet to take a seat, is in the shadow” Gun Roswell
Seated in the shadows
The midday sun, came out for some fun
But unintended, most likely was the burn undefended
As all the dwellers, needed to be reseated
So, what to do, as the options where so few
Several ideas then into the common sir flew
And after a moment of thought, they all knew what to do
A hustle and bustle then started all over the place
Because who would be fool enough for too long in the sun stay
Moving furniture around leaving oh so many stains
But as the deed was finally done
It was time for all hard working people to sit down
And enjoy their day, only this time, sitting in the cool shade
“Seat in the side of the street, sitting totally sideways just to rest my tired feet, well it’s Sunday after all, so no fuss but to let the time stall” Gun Roswell
Seat on the side
The day long and sunny, some would say Sunday funny, but the warm weather so soon after a long while of cold and damp and grey, well, it got the better of this weary walker, on a simple Sunday stroll, taken just because, the weather was so nice and beckoning, thinking to be bold and so finally outside venturing, after all, these days, in the times of change, it was still a choice hard to be made, but not on this fined day, of a sunny and warm Sunday, but for a while, after taking the long tour instead and in a while, having a respite along side, was something totally needed and never mind, the passersby, looking at what the lazy one was doing, but not caring a single bit as there was no hurry to do more than just be and enjoy, the day of free, on this quiet and long day, and so, in place for a moment longer staying, before pushing on, showing everyone, this one was still strong after all.

“Always waiting for a bus” Gun Roswell
Empty (Haiku) (Seat Sunday)
Seats available at the station
Waiting for the bus for a trip
A vacation before next Monday
“Sleeping in the park, on a hard bench? Yeah, well, it happens to people a lot more often than you might think, and it’s not even Halloween!” Gun Roswell

A Dreary Night on the Bench
Surrounded by dark and misty air
Missed the very last fare
Sitting on this, park bench
Wishing I had worn a warm trench
The eerie, dark and damp surroundings
Leaving my heart pounding
Not a single soul in sight
On this mystical, scary night
Wrapping my thin coat tighter
My mood getting suddenly lighter
I hear some noises
A car in the distance, approaches
Finally… do I have a ride!?!

“There is always a seat when you need one” Gun Roswell
Shadows and seats
The warm sun shining in the blue skies and I find myself whining to the simple fact of too much heat and direct sunlight in my pale face. Trying very hard but there is simply no escape. But wait! What did I just spot in my peripheral vision but something most likely to be saving my over cooked bacon? A seat over there in the distant, and to be scarce, it’s residing in the only shadowy spot to be seen or found for miles on end. Could I really be that lucky and be the one, whom over there ion a few could run? Or is this simply a terrible joke, a mirage at the expense of my over heated delusional mind? Please please be kind and let me over there my way find and nothing more will I ever ask again. Well, not until the next time when I’m in trouble again, so talk then as now I need to get to my precious seat on the cool shadows and plenty of rest there spend until it’s time to say, when and get going again.

“Take a seat, on the little blue chair, it’s cool and neat, you can surely feel it” Gun Roswell
Blue and the Seat
As always, during the last day of the week
The Sunday, the sunny day, is always reserved for the time to seek
But, when the midday sun, gets way too hot
You know you need to find, that one special spot
Where you are able to rest for a moment
Hoping it’s not going to be too much of a torment
When trying to gain that much needed momentum
To be able to complete, the most fun filled excursion
