Too early
Airport calling
Surely
You wouldn’t want to
Miss the flight
It took so long
And one
Sleepless night
To get there
Where ever
You now wanted
To go
Breathe in
Breathe out
Let the morning air
Cool and thin
Hitting your skin
Clear all doubt
For soon
Sea and sun
Will replace
The mundane
And it’s not even

Shiny bright objects
On the hood of the car
Not satisfied admiring from afar
Closing in with careful steps
Ornaments of gorgeous animals
Mouths agape like howling cannibals
A feline of sorts
Put on this car of sports
A Jaguar,
Can go quite far
But how about,
This old car?
Got my prize
In a pocket size
A snap for this post
Now the image a ghost
Driving in my Fiesta
I really need a siesta
But in my mind
A tune of a different kind

On a road
To nowhere
Travelling fast
Forgetting
The past
It would not
Have lasted
Anyway
Future
Unknown
Or so
We were told
Never mind
Just be kind
