Sparkly Wine

It’s kind of a celebration
Did not need much persuasion
Sparkly wine filling the glasses
Handed around to whom ever passes
Today we all are carefree
And enjoying our little jubilee

Mundane Monday

“I have always been caught by the pull of the unremarkable, by the easily missed, infinitely nourishing beauty of the mundane.” Tana French, Broken Harbour

monday-bloody-monday

Monday, Bloody Mundane Monday!

Just another Monday
That’s after Sunday
I wish it was Friday
Or at least Thursday
Much closer to Saturday
The one true fun-day
Oh, I kind of lost track on Tuesday
And also Wednesday,
Known as little Saturday
So I know my weekdays
But one fact remains
I really do hate Mondays!!!

Just Eat It!

Tomatoes and eggs on your plate
No time to contemplate
Just eat it, just eat!
Don’t you make me repeat it!

This is not a debate
Or question of your weight
Just eat it, just eat!
Don’t you make me repeat it!

It’s healthy and great
Better clean up your plate
Just eat it, just eat!
Don’t you make me repeat it!

Well, I did, three times:
So eat it!

Not-monochrome

“I have always been caught by the pull of the unremarkable, by the easily missed, infinitely nourishing beauty of the mundane.” Tana French, Broken Harbour

Definitely not Monochrome

Call me dull
A total null
Even a drone
But never ever
Call me monochrome

Behind the shades
Before the sunlight fades
Peekaboo!
I see you!

Off /On the Wall

Living in my little box
Canny as a big fox
Hanging from these old rocks
This is were I keep my clocks
And where all the cool kids flock

Nightly Shadows

When the lights are turned on
Odd reflections
Life’s projections
Or an unidentified phenomenon

Reflections (SL-WEEK 44)

true-or-reflection

“Once I’ve taken photographs, I look at them, and I get into them, and I’m there for the moment – and then that’s it. I find little time for reflection” Pattie Boyd

Truth or Reflection

Just an illusion
Causing much confusion
Which one is the truth
And which is the reflection?
Or are they both perfection
In a mind’s eye?

Glass Wall Reflections

Blue skies
Blue waters
Blue reflections
Blue feelings?
Nah:
They are just reflections
Glass wall projections
Real life is more colourful
And now,
Feeling more powerful
