Early Bird catches the Sunrise

An early bird’s price
Is a gorgeous sunrise
Climbing high up in the skies
Before your very eyes

Moon, Moon, where art thou?

“Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art” Ansel Adams

Moon, Moon, where art thou?

Moon, moon
Where art thou moon?
Come out from your hiding
On the nightly path guiding
Before off the trail
I go slipping and sliding

Ready for the Close-up

“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence” Ansel Adams

Ready for the Close-up

Getting closer and closer
A little more closer
Almost close enough
For an object to touch
But wait, time to hesitate
The cactus with mighty thorns
May your fingers scorn
Before you loose
Better choose
The creamy strawberries
With their pals blueberries
A tasty treat
Without any meat
Some eye candy to complete
With a red amaryllis ever so sweet

Share each Friday, on your own blog, one photo…or maybe even a gallery of some of your favorite photos that you have taken during the week, that make you smile or that was a great photo capturing opportunity…anything really! And as photographers are often known to say, “The best camera is, the one that you have with you!”

Favourite Photo Friday, 2015 Photo Breakdown (2016-01-22)

Those of you snapping pix, know this to be a tedious task, since to be honest, they are all favourites of the moments they were taken, why else would you have shot them in the first place, right? Trying to limit to just one or two photos is difficult for any post, but trying my best here from the several thousand photos shot and posted during 2015 😉

For this week’s breakdown, I have chosen three photographs each from the following topics:

All creatures, Great and Small
Ready for the Close up
Moon, Moon, where art thou?
Early Bird catches the Sunrise

Hope you enjoy the walk down memory lane of 2015 in photographs!

Alphabet (The Daily Post)

The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Alphabet

This week, let the alphabet be your inspiration: find a string of letters. Try a multi-photo gallery to collect images of single characters. Find some beautiful typography, or look for letters hidden in natural forms. I’m excited to see your ABCs!

Maybe I am blue
Because of winter
Quite the opposite
Of pure white

“I’m from Sweden, so I don’t enjoy winter at all; there’s nothing cute about it” Lykke Li

White (Mundane Monday 2016-01-18) Two

Oh winter, oh winter
Don’t think I am bitter
But to be honest
I wish you to be gone-st
I really loved you at first
Now I am dying of thirst
Of a summer that is
So hear me please
And be gone!

“I love the Mediterranean for the fact that winter is over in a minute, and the almond blossom arrives in January” Jade Jagger

White (Mundane Monday 2016-01-18) One

Whiter than white
The blanket so tight
Woven onto the ground
And into our minds

Yes it’s winter
Oh joy!?

(She says sarcastically
What she means really)

Quite the splinter
And a clever ploy!

First it was nice
Now it seems
You are staying
Just of spite

No need for a seat
Feeling the heat
As I am quite sweet
