“All right, Mr. DeMille,
I’m ready for my close-up”
Gloria Swanson -Sunset Boulevard
Close-Ups
I am soft
But I have thorns
I feel pretty
In my pink colours
I am hard
Watch out!
Better not land
On my rocks

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle
Picking up some wings
Has its wins
But if you want some style
And sail up the Nile
Or just hop on a train
When there is no need to explain

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle
The coolest way
With the hips in sway
Doing some recycling
Then, pedal a bicycle

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle
Travelling on wheels
Has its appeals
But getting somewhere far
In only a car
Can be a chore
Changing the score

“Oh winter,
thou art a heartless bitch!”
Oh Winter, Never Ending!
Colourfully painted patterns
Across the sky shattered
It’s funny, how they all gathered
And onto the sky a painting delivered

“Oh winter,
thou art a heartless bitch!”
Oh Winter, Never Ending!
The snow gods decided
To send down more snow
The people, standing united
Kindly, letting the gods know
Where the excess snow
To slowly shove

thou art a heartless bitch!”
Oh Winter, Never Ending!
Sitting quiet and still
Letting the candlelight fill
All the empty spaces, which chill

“Oh winter,
thou art a heartless bitch!”
Oh Winter, Never Ending!
Sunset of yellow
The blue hue as fellow
Night fell quite mellow
Come on,
It’s time for some yell-o
