Autumn Foliage for Daily Photo

“By all these lovely tokens September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather And autumn’s best of cheer.”
Helen Hunt Jackson

Red

Roses are red
And violets are blue
That may be true
But also
The leaves
Of the Autumn
As they heave
Bright red
In the sunlight
Before turning
Well falling
Onto
The ground
How does that sound?

Suburbia

Suburbia living
Is quite fitting
Eternal kicking
Sometimes ripping
But ones chipping in
You are fitting in

Up the tree top

Rock-a-bye baby
On the tree top
I am feeling kind of hazy
So I better just stop!

Hidden view

A peeping tammy
Got up her fanny
She blamed the nanny
Which was quite canny
Because even granny
Could have seen Danny
Walk by

Full Moon for Daily Photo

“And Fall, with her yeller harvest moon and the hills growin’ brown and golden under a sinkin’ sun” Roy Bean

Distant Moon

full-moon-5

Spinning out from orbit
Like a sugar rush tripping hobbit
If you think about it
It may sound quite horrid
You may even feel worried
But, before you vomit
Another comet
May fill the empty space
And be a much nicer place!

Copper Moon

full-moon-1

The copper shaded moon
Has reached its full bloom
Rusty and round
Lighting
The night ground
If you were looking for treasure
To be a person of leisure
Then this is
The wrong rainbow!

White Moon

Shining brightly
Tonight oh so whitely
Like a Christmas song
Banging the gong
The full moon
Came out at noon

Hello October: Month of wellingtons and mackintoshes!

“Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.” Mark Twain

October Moon

Shiny objects in the sky
Was it an unidentified fly by
Or just the crescent moon up high
Shining its light in this fool’s eye

October Morning Frost for Daily Photo

Hello October: Month of wellingtons and mackintoshes!

“But frost, like the crystallized dreams of autumn, began to coat the clearing with its sugar glaze.” Victoria Steele Logue, Redemption

October Morning Frost

Nature in pending status
Almost like being on hiatus
Leaves of multicolour
Covered with sugary frost
The misty air softly hovers
Over last night’s rain drops
Now frozen in their spots
A glimmer of sunlight
The only a reflection in sight
Soon enough the colour fades
The frost of rain only remains
And the Autumn turns
To Winter
