“In the full light of day, I don’t want to think about the sunset” Shakira
Sunset
Something wonderful happened
Before it was time to go to bed
A sunset of the colour red
As if the skies had bled
So I stayed outside instead
And watched the beautiful sunset

“We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness”
Sunrise
A special moment
In the month of January
For people up North
This will sustain their sanity
For a little while longer
As the sun is getting stronger
In the midst of the darkness
A ray of sunlight
To keep up the good fight

“With Saturday morning cartoons, you’ve got to start at 6 A.M., right?” Jim Rash
Saturday (Daily Photo)
It’s Saturday
What more can I say?
All is quiet in our little suburbia
After all,
We would not want to disturb ‘ya 😉
So just sit down, relax
The weekend is time for some slacks

“Do not let Sunday be taken from you. If your soul has no Sunday, it becomes an orphan”
Albert Schweitzer
Sunday
It’s Sunday
What more can I say?
All is quiet in our little suburbia
After all,
We would not want to disturb ‘ya 😉
So just sit down, relax
The weekend is time for some slacks
Before you know it
It will be over…

“We have chased away the clouds, the sky is all ‘rose.'” Francois Hollande
Fire in the Sky (Daily Photo 2016-01-14)
The sky
Supposedly blue
Now
The colour
Of a rosy hue
Fluffiest
Of clouds
Painting
A red shroud
The sun is
About to rise

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Remembering the Turn of the Year (Daily Photo 2016-01-12)
Colourful burst of light
Against the darkness
Of the night
The clocks are churning
The new year is turning
Time for a new hope
And a new future
