“Ride a bike, with motors or not, it’s really up to you!” Gun Roswell
Motorised big Bikes anyone?
Bikes with motors are fine When you want to avoid that grind But a manual pedaller May be a great leveller When your pulse needs elevating And your blood, circulating
“Ride, ride, ride a kick scooter to the end of a long, long street” Gun Roswell
Take a ride on a kickable and motorised scooter
Manual labour?
No thanks!
Simply put a coin in the slot, right there on the dot, just there, and voilà!
You are equipped with the most perfect transport for a few hours to circle around in the city just like, well royalty, maybe not, but at least close to it, without any kind of stint of the manual and exhausting one.
And if you really want to, have some exercise, just to feel more nice, rather than the lazy ass riding on the scooter with both feet on it, then scoot, scoot, scoot your way with the other leg.
And for the sake of it, try to change footing every now and again, as too much time spent on just the one appendix, might just cause cramps or thicker muscles on it.
So, whatever you choose, you won’t lose, as this is the best choice to travel in a small city.
“It’s a valid ride, for the day at least right?” Gun Roswell
Four Wheel Drives I Guess?
Four wheel drives Of a different kind Manual propulsion With a little compulsion Slowly getting nowhere And then again, everywhere Usage from ages zero To the top one hundred You can be a hero Or a little weirdo As long as you keep pedalling The flow of adrenaline Will keep you moving Your condition improving Hear the crowds cheering As you are nearing The finish line
In the street corner A blue lonely bug Just wanted a hug Or a driver to take On a road trip near a lake
Painted in blues In all shades and hues She matched the skies But were her expectations too high For where could she find That one person so kind Now all she could do is cry
A little while later When all hope was almost lost A tiny girl in pig tails Turned up and stopped She asked the tiny car, Clearly very scared
“Why so sad The sun is shining clouds are blue Just like you Shouldn’t you be glad?”
The bug answered: “I am old It makes me cold Not fashionable Nor lovable Cannot find one soul Who would drive me To the lake or sea”
The little girl felt bad Then had an idea and laughed: “Have no fear I’ll drive you my dear Alone no more Neither sore”
She then hopped into the bug Luckily she was small because the bug was quite snug Driving together to the sunset Never each other going to let
“What does it matter if it’s an older model, it still works does it not? “ Gun Roswell
A Lada Car? For me?
When the need for any type of vessel To transport you anywhere (well somewhere at least) across town It does not matter whether it has the latest gadgets Or even runs with gasoline, methane or beer (going green is always good) But once you fall in love with a tiny blue thing (yes, thing is the best description for it) It will certainly make your heart to sing (and make your wallet cry) A blast from the very, very past Some might say, and then gasp (they do that a lot don’t they) But no matter what the others might think Just let yourself into the comfy seat sink Then push the petal (not entirely to the metal as it may break) And glide down the road (or jump depending on how reliable your driving abilities are) Now riding in a car built by an already forgotten super power Does not make to feel like you have such great power But this is a leisure drive after all (yeah, you really need it today) So, just enjoy the time and make it a ball Ride the blue painted bucked of metal to the sunset (well maybe to the beach within the hour) And return the ride before you have to pay extra for the fun set
“Sometimes, one simply needs a break from it all.” Gun Roswell
Island life under the shade
A small Island, perhaps Greece? A small piece Of our very own history Beyond the centuries The oldest of towns Considered the jewel of the crown Alas the soft sunny beach At your very reach Ixia, Kamiros or Lindos A small drive with the bus Everything you’ll ever need On the small island of eternal peace
“Ride a mini cooper, the tiny four wheel vehicle and you never go back to a Volkswagen, or, what ever kind of car” Gun Roswell
Mini in blue with a flag on top, a Union Jack but of course!
A Union Jack flag, painted, on the very top of her head Two white ‘go’ stripes, adorning, the hood ahead Her headlights, big, bright and very shiny things, and yes, oh so metallic As I continue listing all these qualities, I am getting so, so ecstatic Darkest of blue, is the shiny coat she wears Why don’t you, just take a peek inside, if you dare (I know you want to, go ahead, it’s alright, she won’t bite, well, maybe, just a nibble!) Lot’s of room, in this small, little gal is packed Four seats, even ample storage, and a motor, in the back She truly is, a complete package, of beauty and smart This tiny, and little, old school mini cooper, is a totally and utterly, lovable car
