Sweat
Covering

The drilling

With feelings
Of dull
Contemplating
An escape
Looking
At the window
Wishing
For a cape
Like a superhero
Flying away
No time
The Dentist
Hovering
Covering
Your eyes
With sunglasses
Working
In a quick pace
Before I
Can plot my
Break
My mind
Wandering to
Molasses?
Am I
Loosing it?
Completely
Sugar
Would be
The last thing
I needed
Mouth
Agape
Drooling
Like an ape
Fooling
Not a chance
In a deep
Trance
Or a drug endused
State
After all
Is done
Wishing
I had
A gun

Cooling down
Getting up
Staggering
Reeling
A sick
Feeling

In the mirror
Spittle
And blood
On my face
Must be
An error
Covering
My head
With a hood
Leaving quickly
No looking
Back
Oh what
A quack

It’s all over

Time to fear
And run

A dimple
On your cheek

Breathe in

Relinquish
All doubt
Nothing to it
You can do it
Relax a while

Hoping

And running out

Today I saw it
The huge chunk of metal
Replacing my joint
I almost shifted gear
Just out of fear
Making my stomach churn
Pushing the pedal to the metal
And making u-turn
While running away
But wait, please stay
Easy as pie it would be
So at least they told me
While they operate
You get to lie in bed
Take a short nap
No mishap
While the pros
Do their chores
Unconscious, unaware
So, there really is no scare!

Flat on my face
Semiconscious
Feeling sorer
And out of place
For the next few days
Relying on others’ aid
Hoping not to faint
Ain’t that quaint
But I am hardly a saint
Almost felt jinxed
But now my six
Is getting fixed
Add into the mix
Out of order
For a few days at least
