Seat Sunday in Kos Island

“A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy?” Albert Einstein

Carpet Seat

“Oh look at that carpet in the window:
It looks stuck in a colour overload limbo!”

“Well, have you ever!
A carpet on the seat?
It’s like we are hexed!
What will be next?
Carpets replacing sheet?
Pillows on the floor?
A toilet next to the outdoor?”

Lunch Time

Time for lunch
Possibly even brunch
Find your way
Where all the others stay
No need to pay
Just sit down and for a while stay
Have some chicken
Which is good as finger licking
Maybe afterwards
Some mini cakes quite sticking
Or if you want something healthy
You do not need to be weatlhy
Just grab some melons
Cantaloupe or honey
No, not trying to be funny
It’s all there
Nothing has been spared
For your vacation
Is most important to this station
To make you happy
And maybe later,
Time for a nappy!

Just waiting for my dessert
Because rewards a many
For this work heavy
Do I get
But do not call me
A pet!”

Guard Duty

“I am on guard duty
But still I need my sleep of beauty
Some may think I am snooty
But to them I just say
Howdy doody!”

Lazy Days

“Deep deep deep
Do I sleep
Never minding
The passersby
Or at least I am pretending
Until my needs they are tending
Then, maybe
I will give a damn
Just because I can”

Lazy Days

“I am much too tired
To really be bothered
With all these tourists
Luckily, I get nourished
But come on!
Let me just be
I just want to sleep!”

Rosehip

Lush and pink
Totally in sync
The little rose
In a pose
Hidden
In the green leaves
In August’s eve

Scary Door

Be on the look out
You never know where it lies
The way to…
… A scary door!

Ride a Bike

Ride a bike
Take a hike
Watch out for spikes
As your vehicle they can strike
Stay out of fights
Other wise
Do what you like
So go
Ride a bike

Ripples on the Water

ripples 1

Soon, September comes with sniffles
Thought of that gives me wrinkles
Looking at the water’s surface filled with ripples
As it smiles with all its dimples
Life in August, smooth and simple
And today, is Friday, so just whistle
