“Why does February feel like one big Tuesday?” Todd Stocker

Tuesday, 17th of November

Today, Tuesday

Really early morning
I woke up
Showered
Today, home office day
Looked out the window
It was pouring and dark
Snapped a few pics

Worked some more
Had a snack break
It was still raining
Snapped a few pics

Worked some more
Had a coffee break
The weather cleared
Snapped a few pics

Working day ended
Drove to water aerobics
The sun was setting
Painting the sky red
Odd, it would show up
A little before disappearing
Snapped a few pics

Drove back home
Posted some blogs
Went to sleep
Dreaming of tomorrow

It will be Wednesday…

“I enter the world called real as one enters a mist” Julien Green

Early Morning Mist with a touch of Red

The eerie morning mist
Before the sun has kissed
The clouds a grayish shade
Before the mist will fade

The skies slowly turning into red
Looking forward to the day ahead
Will it be another day filled with sunshine
Or do I rain and cold wind only find?

“Puns are the highest form of literature” Alfred Hitchcock

I am a writer and therefore automatically a suspicious character

I have adopted a quote from a great director and certainly a personality in his own right, Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock.

Using the quote on my blog main page, I consider it to be the utmost homage to Hitchcock. And as life would have it, the quote fits my own personality like a glove 😉

“I’m a writer and, therefore, automatically a suspicious character.” Alfred Hitchcock

No Bra Day; Set your Tata’s free (2015-10-13)

In honour of The Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2015

“Once I overcame breast cancer, I wasn’t afraid of anything anymore” Melissa Etheridge

No Bra Day; Set your Tata’s free

Boobs, Mounds, Titties, Cha-chas
Hooters, Globes, Bosom, Tatas
What a stigmata
Even a few sonatas
Written for the female breasts
That tantalizing heaving chest
But today is a reminder
That they kind of
Have a limited warranty
Which comes with a guarantee
For a regular maintenance cycle
Because this is one product
You cannot recycle
So with that knowlegde
Schedule your appointment
To avoid any unnecessary ointments
Let’s all celebrate today
With a great big hooray
Your face in an impish glee
Set your Tata’s free
Just for today
