“Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong”
Winston Churchill
Solitary
One solitary flower
Still had the power
To grow

Winston Churchill
Solitary
Sitting pretty
Feeling gritty
In the middle of the city
The tiny yellow flower

“Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong”
Winston Churchill
Solitary
A solitary sun
Lighting up the blue sky
A solitary tree
Growing in the back yard
A solitary leaf
Turning green
With the other solitary leaves

“Tomorrow morning before we depart,
I intend to land and see what can be found in the neighborhood”
Christopher Columbus

Stacked
Neatly, bundled together
Protected, from any weather
From January to December
Different, but similar
Just like, birds of a feather

They call me old school
My condition may not be minted
But my owner considers me a jewel

Causing no fuss
Hanging together
To each other tethered
Yellow, with a touch of white
Pretty, in sunshine’s bright

With the warmth they will sprout
Growing their tentacled snouts
It is the time,
The time, for branching out

Sign of the Times
It was the sign, of the times
Peeing, surely a major crime
Just be careful, while lifting that leg
You may be fined

Long Journey
The longest journey,
Starts, with a single step…
But the caterpillar, is not in a hurry
Taking its time in the human web

“There is no mundane dimension really,
if you have the eyes to see it, it is all transcendental.”
― Terence McKenna
Mundane Mondays
Snowflakes have landed
Summery winds, leaving them stranded
Before they melt
They cry for help
But cruel nature
Knows no hatred
Soon, turning into water
Oh, the snowflakes’ slaughter!
