Sunny Days (two)
Posted in Daily Photo
“Who cares about the clouds when we’re together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather”
Dale Evans
Sunny Days
Bright ball of fire
You saved us from dire
But gently,
Caused us to perspire
Because our attire
Was not meant for a weather of dryer
And now we need to find a dryer
Before the clothes expire
But still we do admire
Your lovely hellish fire
It must be better than snow!

Sunny Days
Sunset reflected
The day soon neglected
Families to be connected
Happiness detected
Soon the moon erected
The day has finally ended

Sunny Days
Sunshine on a rainy day
Skies slowly turning from gray
To a nicer shade to play
I really wish I could stay
Roll around in the fresh hey
Under the shining sun today

“Helsinki isn’t all that bad.
It’s a very nice city,
and it’s cold really only in wintertime”
Linus Torvalds
World Wide Wednesday in Finland
At the Market Square
The hustle and bustle
The use of the rustle
All the customers
Lurking about this summer
The Market Square
The biggest fair
This side of town

Hallelujah:
The waters will flow right through ‘ya!

“Do not cross the brook for water”
Finnish proverb
World Wide Wednesday in Finland
Statuesque
A sculpted lady
Whom some call shady
Even a little crazy
But when it’s May Day
She’ll get her dues paid
A cap on her head
And all the joy to spread

World Wide Wednesday in Finland
At the Market Square
The jewel of the crown
Bursting with life
Peacefully, without a strife
Roaming the stands
Even if not a fan
You may enjoy the ambiance
So come on down and take chance
Even if it rains
No worries, the stains
Will not remain!

Statuesque
We are, the spitting seals
We are, much cooler than eels
We just, do what we feel
We are, the famous seals!
