A Seat

A Seat

A seat in the shadows
A seat in the sunshine
A seat in the meadows

Even the one seat
In the setting of concrete
Is quite fine

Fascinating

Fascinating

It’s almost, like a painting
I find it, quite fascinating
An out of focus photograph
Reminiscent, of a calligraph

Stare at it, for a while
What ever as you want it to file
It will still make you smile

Red Sky

Red Sky

Red sky
Sunrise
Nature’s prize
For a
Brand new life

White

White

Delicate
In blooming white
Elegant
Like a flying kite
Intelligent
Their design to the fault
Resident
As the earth’s salt

Flower Pot

Flower Pot

A flower in a pot
Got its summery slot
Right there on the dot

It may be store bought
Maybe, not what you sought
But this is, what you got

One

One

Against the lush and living
Kind and forgiving
A dried out branch
Made its stance

“I will outlive you all
Before me you will fall!”

Skies

Skies

Hanging, in the evening skies
Thick red clouds, gravity define
In the colour of finest of wine
The scene nearly close to divine

On the Beach

On the Beach

They say, ‘Life is a beach’
If you want that high to reach
Eat and keep the peach
Then listen to no speech
Cut the strings and barriers breach
Just this moment siege
And you know, you have reached
Your life’s beach

Two

Two

Two of a kind
Is very hard to find
Maybe, of the same mind
Together, completely lined
But in reality, behind
Only the façade is outlined

To Coffee or not To Coffee?

Posted in Simply Poetry

“As long as there was coffee in the world, how bad could things be?”
― Cassandra Clare, City of Ashes

To Coffee or not To Coffee?

To coffee, or not to coffee,
Should that really be a question?

A coffee by any other name,
Would smell as sweet

When things get rough
The tough make a cup of coffee

People living in glass houses
Should drink their coffees out of cups

There is no place like home
With a fresh pot of coffee

Like birds of a feather
Two cups of coffee

Monkey see, monkey doo
Monkey drink their coffee too

To whom the bells toll:
It surely is time for a cup of coffee

Easy says as easy does,
Just make that damned cup of coffee!

When in Rome,
Have a cup of coffee!

Come to the dark side
We’ve got lots of coffee!
