“Snail, snail,
Show me your horns,
Will there tomorrow,
Be a storm”
– Finnish adage

Snail for The Daily Post

Little slimey snail
Brought by a gail
Now stuck in this tale
Onto my windowsill

I though you were a hale
Of the size of a whale
But you seem quite frail
Dragging your tall tail

I tried to snap a picture
But you were way too fast
Now into this scripture
Your tall tale will last

Look Up for The Daily Post

“Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work” A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Reaching for the Sky

Watching
The skies
Wondering,
What,
Beyond the horizon
Lies

Look Up for The Daily Post

“Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work” A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Rails in the Sky

Take a slow ride
Up, up in the sky
You know you want to
Go as high
As high as the sky
With the ride
The ride to the sky

“It’s usually our opposites who complement us best, because they’re the only ones who can balance us out.”
― Rachel Hollis, Party Girl

Opposites for The Daily Post

Out with the old
In with the new
Even if it’s made of gold
There’s nothing we can do?

Opposites for The Daily Post

But what if
We change it?
A new coat of paint
To look less quaint?

Looks won’t be deceiving
It’s all in the matter of perceiving
We can hide it
Or even camouflage it

It’s still an old version
Even after the conversion
But we need a little diversion
Even to the strongest aversion

So now, a new lease
And together in peace
With the neighbours of new
And no one says “ew!”

Two of a kind
Both streamlined
Dreaming of the races
In all different places
But for now
Window dressing
Is our current setting
