Flowers of all Ages

Flowers, of all ages
Let them, out of their cages
And into the streets
They will be racing
But, there will be no chasing
To be honest,
I think we are much too lazy
So just sit back
And be content in praising

Flight

The seagull of the hood
Keeping guard over her domain
This may be the concrete wood
But the order must be sustained
If you get too close
Soon enough you will get a doze
On your head or shoulder
It will be quite a boulder
Of the bird’s arsenal
(Not going to the particulars)
So head this warning:
When the seagulls are swarming
Keep you distance
And you may survive the instance!

Amanda

The pretty little lady
Carved out of bronze
Curvy and naked
As cool as the Fonze
Despite over eighty
She’s none too shady

A Whole Lotta Going On

Ferris wheels, Cranes and such
Sure packed a lot of stuff
And into just one image!
Now all we need to do,
Is to put the ball into the scrimmage
Don’t have a clue?
Well, just follow the mimic
I promise, it’s not a gimmick!

Choices to make

seats-3

When in a park cafe
Wishing the rain away
Hard choices to make
Eat a bun or a cake?
Sit on the green or the red
Oh, these hard choices
I have to make!

Occupied/Vacant

A quiet corner
Of a busy street
Like a human recorder
Listening, watching, plotting
For anything, to tweet

Blue

Sky’s light of blue
Burrowing through
No matter what you do
You cannot escape
The true blue

“If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness and fears” Cesare Pavese

Panorama

The city panorama
Display filled with drama
Well, at least in the words
Of a known Americana!

Mikonkatu

The busy street for walking
Maybe a little stalking
Well, at least in the pricy shops
If you dare inside them drop
You may loose a shirt or few
And maybe, some money too

Aleksanterinkatu

The fearless leader from Russia
Made such a fuss-ia
Wanted a statue
And a street no less
As a name sake
Oh, we are no fools
And know he was a fake
He had his dues
But I must confess
The names sound kinda cool!
