Tuesday? Only Tuesday?

“Sometimes it’s just a slow week is all, but then, it’s suddenly Sunday?” Gun Roswell

The days come along one by one (usually the way they do)
It’s almost like singing a song (verse by verse moving along)
Today it’s Tuesday, when only yesterday it was Sunday (that’s how I recall it)
And now, it’s getting late, no matter how I hesitate, tomorrow will be here, I can feel it near (What do you know: It’s Wednesday and midweek, what a geek!)

Guess I need to stop worrying about Mondays anyway (Oh, did you worry before? Did not know that…)
Since the days keep on changing without my aid (Yeah, need a time machine for that!)
Why worry about some day, when there is always the next day (True, do like the Spanish do, manana!)
So, on this day of …ahem, Tuesday, I swear, not to worry about another damned day!!! (Liar! You know this promise or what ever is as good as the up and down going fever! You will never keep it, trust me, I know shit!)

Bring it on Tuesday, Wednesday and even Friday (Don’t forget Monday and something else!)
Every day, from this day on is my day (note to writer, how many times can you get away with the word “day”?)
I will start appreciating the here and now (Yeah, really! Like to see that)
And then, if not, nobody have a cow! (We already did! It’s there in the backyard!)

That Monday Mood once again!

“Wanting to flee, something of a mood each and every Monday it seems” Gun Roswell

No matter if you are travelling or at home
There is always something mundane going on
During the first day of the week
You might not always really find what you seek
But look around what the world of mundane will bring
You may be surprised of the same old things
Look so much different depending of the mood or light
Some of them coming finally to life
There is art where you least expect it to be adored
Just grab your camera and a new attitude and go to explore
It may be Monday, that one specific day
We all love so much to hate, well, at least of it debate
Just call it the beginning of an interesting week to enjoy
Because Friday will get here sooner than you have time to shout:
“Ahoy!”

Hike on a Bike

“Nothing like a ride on a bike, during the spring time, yeah, let’s call it a hike!” Gun Roswell

When the roads are cleared of bad weather
Thee is nothing to give more of an pleasure
Than picking up a bike with bright red stripes
And whooshing down the streets with big fat smiles
After all it has been such a long while
When it was even good to take a ride
Since the winter is almost and hopefully gone
It’s good to leave the dull indoors
And venture out there where the air
Amongst other things feels so much better
You only want to ride all day long
Maybe, even, sing a few dorky songs
To celebrate the coming of warm weather in time so long

Flying high up

“It’s all in the perspective of things, right?” Gun Roswell

Catching the winds of spring
Soaring high up, my song to sing
I am a pretty bird in flight
And I may not always choose right
But I am sure this direction
Is the one I need for completion
Of my getting up so high
Even so far as the crows fly
Despite being a miniature beaked thing
There is no rule saying I cannot sing
And thusly, I am up here
In the open wide stratosphere
Higher than any other bird ever
In your face, for being clever!

Spring in the city of Barcelona

“Spring is going to spring, at least we can hope it will!” Gun Roswell

Spring in the city of Barcelona

It’s that time of the year
When life is kicking to full gear
The signs are clearly out there
Just venture outside without fear

The flowers, birds and bees
Come out from their hiding to seek
The freshness of new life in leap
Open your own eyes to see

Time for travels to a country foreign
Hoping some sights to be scoring
Nothing in this place is boring
Even the buildings tell a story

Look up and down, and all around
Plenty of things and people to be found
Nature at is best, even the ground
Green grasses, leaves and flowers make a sound

Spring at home or over seas
Nothing better on the wish list indeed
Glad to shed the clothes of winter
And tell all, spring is finally in here

On the Metro, or if you prefer, the Tube or the Subway

“Take a short ride on a short train, then again, this wasn’t as short a ride or a train as promised!” Gun Roswell

Eastward or westward bound
In an orange coloured train to be found
Riding neatly in a fashionable order
From the beginning to the farthest border

Hop on to one of the trains
They’re usually never too late
But it might feel a little bit of strain
To most of the time underground remain

Never mind the dark and dreary
Look out the window and you’ll be leering
The orange flashes reflecting from each surface
Paints many images on the fleeting canvas

Many a people climb on board
Everyone busily moving forward
Sometimes there is a crowd
And then it gets really really loud

When you reach your destination
Please embark the underground station
Look around the surrounding sights
Like a great tourist, you may like

When it’s time for the return trip
There is no need to bite your lip
If you feel like taking another tour
Remember, the metros run thirty times or more!

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle, maybe Walking? Part Five

“Sometimes there is no what kind of vehicle you will end up in, and so, make sure to dress up accordingly!” Gun Roswell

Take the time, and you will be feeling most fine
No matter the durance of the trip, going with a car, plane, train or ship
There is just something about the leaving, moving along
As not even the planning for this little time off
Could prepare the traveller of what’s lying ahead, nor the tingling sensations during take off!

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle, maybe Walking? Part Four

“When travelling across the blue globe they call Earth, there might be some danger, but mostly mirth, so just go with the flow, but humbly though.” Gun Roswell

Picking up some wings
Most certainly has its wins
Getting to a place fast, or then not, still does those pesky bells ring
But if you want to go all the way, with a scheduler and with some style
Sailing perhaps up the river Nile
Then choosing a boat is a must, the trip without too much fuss
Or then, just hop on a train
When there is no need to explain
Where you are headed at
As sometimes the lack of knowing can be great!

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle, maybe Walking? Part Three

“Two or three wheels, will give the feel of something old, perhaps even bold, keep pedalling and far you will end up, well, perhaps or not!” Gun Roswell

On the open road
With a heavy load
A location in mind
Trying to unwind
The wind in the hair
No time for cares
Doing this all on a dare
Other wise could have just stayed
At home all alone?

Trains, Planes, Automobiles and a Bicycle, maybe Walking? Part Two

“Take a ride to the great open wide, do it with a smile, and remember, there alway might be some dire awaiting, but leave the hating and smile through it all, life, is a ball after all!” Gun Roswell

On the open road
With a heavy load
A location in mind
Trying to unwind
Travelling on wheels
Has its appeals
But getting somewhere far
In only a car
Can be a chore
Changing the score
Picking up some wings
Has its wins
But if you want some style
And sail up the Nile
A boat or a yacht
Is worth getting stuck
If you want to do it old style
And travel with a big smile
The coolest way
With the hips in sway
Doing some recycling
Then, pedal a bicycle
