“I see red, always red” Gun Roswell

Red

Red around the horizon, does
It mean the sun is setting or
Arising? Does seem so surprising

It looks so neutral and
Red, but do you want to bet
Which time of the day

It really is, without looking
At the clock, and if i tell
You, will it shock you?

Neither

Red

There may not be a
Stop sign per say, clearly marking the
Go away, but when you

See it all painted in
The brightest of reds, then take the
Hint, it means no unwanted

Visitors, solicitors of any kind
Will step over to this property and
If that offends thee in

Any way, then hey, that
Is not really a problem for me
So do seek some elsewhere

Please

Red

Red berries for breakfast, red
Berries for lunch, maybe even some during
The break time, but none

For dinner, that is the
Spinner, eating only from the other palette
Rich foods and such, but

None too much, because it’s
Good to leave some room for dessert
Maybe even the rec berries?

Red

Red is the colour of
The sky when the sun is still
High when it starts to

Set, painting all the clouds
In it’s wake, knowing full well what
Is at stake, fighting its

Way, to stay, when its
Not supposed to remain but give room
To the moon to watch

Over the night skies, until
The time of the darkness is over
And the stars switch positions

Once again, letting the sun
Rule the daily light skies, till such
Time it needs to go

Again

“Today I am feeling so blue” Gun Roswell

Blue moon

The skies are blue as
Is the mind of a traveler, sitting
Wing side of a plane

Destination unknown, the dreamer looks
Outside the small window, the stars are
Dotting the pale night sky

What ever waits on the
Other side is just a guess, an
Adventure, but for now, content

To look at the soothing
Skies, before the sun rise, it all
Seems calm, before the storm

“So many seats to choose from” Gun Roswell

A seat in black and white

A hard wooden seat
Can be a real treat
When lost in a land
You really don’t understand
It may be uncomfortable
But still very affordable
Sitting free
In the bushes under a tree
Or by the ocean
Under the cooling breeze

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

“Cats, the rulers of the world” Gun Roswell

Cat of Saturday

Sitting on a chair, this
Is my lair, I am the cat
In white hair, look at

Me now, and before me
Bow, I am the ruler of this
This seat and this street

Worship me, bring me food
And maybe if I feel like it
I will let you pet

Me, but not before its
Late, because I don’t want anyone seeing
Me being a pussy cat,

After all I have a
Reputation to maintain, and that cannot be
Stained by any hooman, ever

“Where’s the honey?” Gun Roswell

Bee keeper

The bee has finally landed
Onto the deck, for some well deserved
Rest, but where’s the honey?
