Watching the clouds

“Watching the puffy clouds, quite the good past time “ Gun Roswell

Watching the clouds

The clouds painted the blue skies
With softness, fluffy as fresh made pies
The horizon now filled with all kinds
Of formations as far as imagination flies
A veritable smorgasbord of art I spy
Up there above me, so ever high
But, should I really hard to try
I know I could reach them all with at least a smile

Laying on the soft green grass
Letting the time slowly me pass
No worries of the future nor the past
As I am in no hurry to run anywhere fast
Because, the die had already been by someone else cast
With all this free time in world supposedly smart
I am solely concentrated, on watching only, the skies

Water times three (three)

“The night fall so blue, nothing else to do, except let the small boat gently glide back home” Gun Roswell

Water times three

Riverside
After the sun has set
A moment for yourself let
Think of the time spent
Before and after
Even break to laughter
It’s close to dark
If you make it smart
A while longer
And you may see the stars

Water times three (two)

“A slow boat on a grey day, sailing languidly across the small lake” Gun Roswell

Water times three

Lakeside
Take a boat
Out on the lake
Fishing optional
Gear provided
Maybe dive in
Row with the oars
Forget other chores
Time is free
A lot to see
Despite the rain
It’s cool and calm
Oh what charm

Water times three

Water times three

“The beach beckons on a sunny day, just on the sand to lay” Gun Roswell

Seaside
Early morning
Sun not yet scorching
Sand white
Water clear
Tip a toe in
Maybe take a swim
Just relax
On your back
Life is a beach
A matter of fact

Waters (three)

“Green lush forest around and clear waters surround, what else do you need to rest your tired feet?” Gun Roswell

Waters

Green
Is the creek
If this is
What you seek
Join us
In the silence
Up North
Where its quiet
Only birds
Make a sound
And not even
Too loud
Water is cool
The air will sooth
Breathe in and out
There is no doubt
This is the best
Forget the rest
Hammer
Your chest
You have arrived
Home

Waters (two)

“On the rocks? At least you can dive into the cool blue waters!” Gun Roswell

Waters

Splashes
Against the rocks
Water so cold
It shocks
Beach empty
Room is plenty
For a holiday
Off season
That was
A simple reason
For a vacation
Good choices
Are scares
Great holidays
Extremely rare

Waters (one)

“Splash into the calming blue hues or crystal clear creek ever so inviting” Gun Roswell

Waters

Sun shine
Life is fine
Cool blues
With a touch of
Turquoise
Sun tanners
On their sun beds
Set as decoys
A picture so vivid
As the waters liquid
Buy this image?
Maybe,
But lately
It has only
Rained 😉

The Way Home

“The way home is not difficult to find” Gun Roswell

The Way Home

Follow, the lights
Shining, so bright
High above the ground
In a solitary window
Your way back home
Now, easier to find

What’s at the very end?

“There is always something more interesting on the other side, right?“ Gun Roswell

What’s at the very end?

Standing at the start of a very long and narrow, but inviting pier. If I was a seer, I would know what ahead of me lies, alas, I am not, so the only option is to either stop, or move forward, towards the great unknown. And that is what I have chosen. Making this an adventure to be gone on.

As I am slowly but surely moving forward, with my legs shaky, as each step, can be my very last, on this rickety old lane of fast. But I continue, as I am curious and I do want to know, what there is at the very end for me to show. A revelation perhaps? A reward of some sort?

What ever it is, I cannot wait to find out, even if it would be, just a simple old kind of a lighthouse!

A seat in a cafe on a sunny Sunday

“Take a load off, it’s Sunday after all, so a respite is a must” Gun Roswell

A seat in a cafe on a sunny Sunday

The crowds all but gone, during these times of change for us all. A cozy spot in the corner over there, awaited us. It was after all the perfect day, for a stop in a small cafe, just around the block. A good time for a quick, or even longer break, with a scone and some well deserved coffee. And as the day had proven to be filled with walking, and a lot of sightseeing as some might put it, this was the perfect ending with a reward so fit. So, taking the time off, of browsing the city’s each and every single spot, and fInding solace in the largest of coffee cups. After all, it was a sunny Sunday, and, a day of rest, and this seat, was certainly the best, in town, making whatever frown turn upside down. Surely, as it was meant.
