“I can’t imagine a day without coffee. I can’t imagine!”
Howard Schultz
Coffee with a Side Dish
A cup of coffee or a few
With a sweet side dish or two
A lifesaver for any day
Will keep all kinds of doctors away

“And Fall, with her yeller harvest moon and the hills growin’ brown and golden under a sinkin’ sun” Roy Bean
Copper Moon
The copper shaded moon
Has reached its full bloom
Rusty and round
Lighting
The night ground
If you were looking for treasure
To be a person of leisure
Then this is
The wrong rainbow!

Distant Moon
Spinning out from orbit
Like a sugar rush tripping hobbit
If you think about it
It may sound quite horrid
You may even feel worried
But, before you vomit
Another comet
May fill the empty space
And be a much nicer place!

“A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away.” ― Eudora Welty
Moon and Sun
Early morning blue skies
With the crescent moon up high
The sun soon to be rising
Both of them each other sizing
Neither of them compromising
Soon enough, two bright lights
Shining up in the skies

You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars” Gary Allan
Dark Side of the Crescent Moon
In the darkness
Of the silent night
Staring into the blackness
With only guiding light
The crescent moon
Eyes fully tuned
Watching each step
So not to misstep
From the narrow road
With a stride slowed
The dark side tempting
But towards the light bending
Which side will win
And paint your skin
With its mark
