“I like to work a lot with wood. I make furniture that falls apart. I also sew” Tim Conway

Deep in the darkest of woods
Where the bears and other creatures poop
A stroll during the eve
That would even scare Steve!

Be careful, where you tread
The path treacherous before you
Will lead you to the nature’s stew
And soon enough,
You wish you would have stayed at home instead

September Leaves for Daily Photo

leaves-1

Leaves of summer
Now leaves of fall
In colourful schemes
Or so it seems
For not too long
Will they go strong
Onto the ground
Their way will be found
And with the groundskeeper’s rake
Into a tall mound
Eventually transforming
Slowly metamorphosing
Catching sleep
Oh so very deep
Through the white winter
Not even a splinter
Can be found
But slowly when Spring time
They come a live
And fill the trees
With all new leaves

Vibrant: Four

The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Vibrant

This week, share a photo of something vibrant. Let’s wash the web with a rainbow of colors to keep the winter gloom at bay.

“I like light, color, luminosity. I like things full of color and vibrant” Oscar de la Renta

FOUR:

On the bare black branches
Which leaves have now neglected
The last evening light reflected
As the sun slowly dances
Into the night’s darkness

TWO:

Red, green and blue combined
Autumn’s true colours refined
Vibrating in the afternoon sun
Before the winter winds
Will leave them undone

Part Two: Autumn Foliage

“Summer ends, and Autumn comes, and he who would have it otherwise would have high tide always and a full moon every night” Hal Borland

Autumn Foliage

The colours are of plenty
The wind cooling gently
Nature filled with changes
Much like the turning of pages
