Of cafes and such

The city which never sleeps, well, it has to, sometimes, at least.

But those who dare to wander, no matter the time of the hour, will be happily surprised, while finding a place so nice, a cafe at the end of a small street!

So daring, taking a peak, just because it might just be the very place so many of us seek!

A quiet place, nobody cares about, not really, but those who do, will always and forever wander there, again and again.

Street Side

“Narrow or wide, streets, they’re just fine” Gun Roswell

Street Side

Stepping into the narrowest of streets
Looking for something new and totally sleek
Never mind the fancy and big shopping malls
For now, I am in search for a specific goal

It may be a thing or two
Or then, just an experience or few
A present to take with me back home
Or a cup of coffee in the cafe small

The adventure in it self is the price
Because these quaint streets are so damned nice
I could spend days on end exploring
And still would not find the task too boring

Making a play
From my hideaway
People watching
A glimpse of their lives
Here and there catching
In the little cafe

Choices to make

When in a park cafe
Wishing the rain away
Hard choices to make
Eat a bun or a cake?
Sit on the green or the red
Oh, these hard choices
I have to make!

Occupied/Vacant

A quiet corner
Of a busy street
Like a human recorder
Listening, watching, plotting
For anything, to tweet

Modern Times

Oh, how time flies
In front of our very eyes
Running around makes none the wise
So, just take a seat, relax, fill your supplies
There is no resistance
For these modern times

Waiting

Important meeting to decide one’s fate?
Maybe a secret hideaway, for a coffee date?
Watching, waiting, by the gate
Why, oh why is my destiny late?
