I was one of them”

“All the people in Star Trek will always be known as those characters. And what characters to have attached to your name in life! The show is such a phenomenon all over the world” NICHELLE NICHOLS
Happy Birthday to Nichelle Nichols
From science fiction
To science fact
From Lady Actress
To Lady Astronaut
A many of myths
You have broken
A multitude of gifts
And truly outspoken
An eternal beauty
With a sense of duty
A voice like an angel
With an attitude of the devil 😉
Uhura, Nichelle
We’re so very glad
Onto our screens you fell
Without you we’d be sad
This might sound a cliche
Live Long and Prosper!

“Taivaalla lentää… Teräs Mamma!”
Hyvää Syntymäpäivää Mamma!
Teräs Mamma
Super Muori
Ei ehkä niin nuori
Perunat kuitenkin kuori
Ja laittoi sukat suoriks
Hiukset kampas’
Paimensi jopa lampaat
Pesi hampaat
“Onhan tänään päivä suuri
Vaikka heräsinkin juuri
Ja vastasin luuriin
Matkalla kauppaan Tuuriin”
Eipä kummoinen riimi
Eipä tämä runoilija ole kovin fiini
Joten tähän lopuksi
Ennen kuin pitää laittaa hopuksi
“Erinomaista synttäriä sulle Mamma!”

“My mother is a walking miracle”
Leonardo DiCaprio
Happy Birthday to Our Mom!
A true super hero
A non-caped crusader
A mom made of steel
She’ll make you eat oatmeal
Tell you how she feels
Ask you, what is the big deal
The mom of moms
Enjoys the occasional rum
Is a lot of fun
And always has a phaser on stun
With the motto
“Always be prepared for the worst
But expect the best”
That is why she plays the Lotto
Just like the rest
So this was not a great rhyme
But at the bell’s chime
We all get together to wish you:
A Very Happy Birthday Mom!

“Christmas is the day that holds all time together”
Alexander Smith
Holiday Season
Holiday Eve
‘Twas the night before Christmas
Nothing stirred,
No sound was heard
No human, nor animal, in sight
Even the mice had taken flight
The only ones about their business
Were the little green men from Mars
They had to be really careful
Their nature a little bit fearful
For the holidays not to turn into a farce
It was their turn to spread wholly
Presents and a great amounts of jolly!”
