“Santa has it great. I buy all the toys. He gets all the credit.”

Mrs Claus (Daily Photo 2015-12-24)

Mrs Claus
Without applause
Doing her bid
Without a quid
Yuletide
Without the bride
Of Santa
Would be banter
No jolly
Or celebration folly
For me
Or you

“Being glamorous is about strength and confidence It’s black and white – dramatic You have to be strong” Catherine Zeta-Jones

White

White or off-white
The white knight
Of the floral world
Traditionally pearled
Fully in bloom
Filling the room
With light
Ever so bright

Wednesday Moon

Playing hide and seek
What a geek!
Come out come out
Where ever you are!
Oh don’t pout
You know we love you
How ever you are!

“When a dog barks at the moon, then it is religion; but when he barks at strangers, it is patriotism” David Starr Jordan

Hidden Moon

Before the rising sun
Let’s have some fun
In the darkness of the night
Not a living soul in sight
In the moonlit sky
It is hard to deny
One’s true nature
Without any failure
Singing to a different tune
When howling at the moon

“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free” Michelangelo

Backyard Angel

Snow flakes landing on the ground
Covering the land like a white crown
No stopping of seasons changing
Both in rain and sunlight bathing
The backyard angel sitting still
Feeling neither chill or thrill
A guardian of this household may he be
But not a sound nor move will make he
Rest assured your home is safe
As long as the backyard angel in his place will stay

“I love berries. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, black berries, anything with an ‘errie’ in it!” Jordin Sparks

Delicious

Red, juicy, delicious
My one and only precious
You make me so jealous
Driving me reckless
With all your freshness
I am getting restless
One bite of your essence
Leaves me breathless

You left me this impression
So, hear my confession
You are my obsession
I wish, my possession

My red delicious all so merry
My one and only Strawberry

Sankta Lucia

In honour of the month of December and the day of Sankta Lucia (13.12.)

“Natten går tunga fjät
rund gård och stuva;
kring jord, som sol förlät,
skuggorna ruva.
Då i vårt mörka hus,
stiger med tända ljus,
Sankta Lucia, Sankta Lucia”

“Night walks with a heavy step
Round yard and hearth,
As the sun departs from earth,
Shadows are brooding.
There in our dark house,
Walking with lit candles,
Santa Lucia, Santa Lucia”

Sankta Lucia

The bearer of light
For the future to shine bright
With all her might
Like the shining white knight
Her sword will smite
All the anger and spite
The world to rewrite
Without war or fight

If you see the sunset, does it have to mean something? If you hear the birds singing does it have to have a message?” Robert Wilson

Saturday Sunset, Part Two

An ordinary Saturday
On a December’s eve
Stepping into a sleigh
For a ride to leave
On a track
To watch the sunset
The colours a reminder
Of the season’s binder

“I envy people who can just look at a sunset. I wonder how you can shoot it. There is nothing more grotesque to me than a vacation” Dustin Hoffman

Saturday Sunset, Part One

“The sky is on fire, the sky is on fire!”

The peasant from the ancient times shouted
As the red clouds into the skies sprouted
Running as fast as he could
Before the skies on him fall would

Simply out of fear
Not knowing of the beauty so near
Shivering in his cellar
Like an old yellar

Some hundreds years later
Not a sunset hater
Eagerly awaiting
A sunset most breathtaking

“We live in a strange bubble” Brian Molko

Life in Bubble

Living in a bubble
Peeking through Hubble
Getting into trouble
Always on the double
Trying to snuggle
Always a struggle
For the couple
After all,
Living in a bubble
Usually decouples
