Distant Moon

Spinning out from orbit
Like a sugar rush tripping hobbit
If you think about it
It may sound quite horrid
You may even feel worried
But, before you vomit
Another comet
May fill the empty space
And be a much nicer place!

The copper shaded moon
Has reached its full bloom
Rusty and round
Lighting
The night ground
If you were looking for treasure
To be a person of leisure
Then this is
The wrong rainbow!

White Moon

Shining brightly
Tonight oh so whitely
Like a Christmas song
Banging the gong
The full moon
Came out at noon
