“And finally Winter,
with its bitin’, whinin’ wind,
and all the land will be mantled with snow”

Hay,
Tall grass
Alas
In the snow
Does grow

Snow as far as eyes can see
Still, the creek running wild and free
So let the cold wind continue blowing
Water freely flowing
There is no slowing

“I now find magic in the mundane.
I’m also more creative –
better able to look beyond the obvious and
come up with new story angles.”

Freaky for Mundane Monday
Eerie
Totally eerie
Surroundings quite blurry
In the small village
So don’t set on pillage
And acting the dare-y
There may be a spillage
Of something scary
In the tiniest of villages

Freaky for Mundane Monday
A village
Revealed by the rising sun
A tiny little village, pardon the pun
Where life lived in slow motion
None daring to raise any commotion
Not even the sound of a locomotion
continued in part two

Freaky for Mundane Monday
Riding through the centre
Without much notion
Happy may they be
As far as you and I can see
But be careful there not to flee
Or you may end up crazy

“Wind warns November’s done with.
The blown leaves make bat-shapes,
Web-winged and furious.”

November Sky
November, November
Finally a day to remember
The sun has lit the skies
Even for a little while
Before the daylight dies
And it will be dark again
Just hoping, it won’t rain!

November Sky
Sometimes
When looking up
Into the skies
An odd phenomena
Catches your eyes
They say,
It’s called, “the sun”
