Almost sated
Admiring the colours
And the odors
Of those precious things
Making my heart sing
Glad I saw you today

Side by side

Pretty and ugly
Together quite snugly
Faded and colourful
Together more powerful

Oh delicate flower
Quite the power
You have on
Us mere mortals
Shining in the sun
In the colours of purple
Yellow, red and blue
Quite the view
When full in bloom
Before the doom
Of withering away
But some day
You will rise again
And lessen our pain
With your marvel

The air almost like silk
Time slowly passing by

Observing, watching, looking
What is nearby cooking
The hedgehog sipping it’s milk
The squirrel with it’s tail high
A bird gliding in mid flight
The flowers in the wind crooking
The clouds hanging softly in the sky
Exhaling, letting out a sigh
The last rays of sun on the skin
What a perfect fin
For a July summer’s day
