Full Moon for Daily Photo

“And Fall, with her yeller harvest moon and the hills growin’ brown and golden under a sinkin’ sun” Roy Bean

Copper Moon

full-moon-1

The copper shaded moon
Has reached its full bloom
Rusty and round
Lighting
The night ground
If you were looking for treasure
To be a person of leisure
Then this is
The wrong rainbow!

White Moon

Shining brightly
Tonight oh so whitely
Like a Christmas song
Banging the gong
The full moon
Came out at noon

“She used to tell me that a full moon was when mysterious things happen and wishes come true.”

Full Moon for Daily Photo

Full moon on a July’s night
Looming above, like a round kite
The whole court yard alight
From it’s shining bright might

The air quiet and lite
Nature preparing, for a midnight’s rite
Running outside, in delight
Like a moon child, ready for flight

Moon

Crescent moon
Full moon
A big white balloon
Wrapped up in a dark cocoon
Silence, the signature tune
Except,
When you are howling
At the moon

The Moonlight Sky

From tiniest of crescent
To fullest of size
Each time a present
But never a surprise

Moon (Daily Photo)

As I am spotting the night trains passing by
I notice a round white ball in the black sky
In my mind’s eye, trying to reach high
But I just stumble, my aim gone awry

Reaching for the moon
Like it was a gold doubloon
Expecting everything to come soon
Will only lead to one’s doom

“We’re on a highway to Hell-sinki!”

A Trip To Helsinki City (Sightseeing and Walkabout) One

Helsinki, the little town in the middle of nowhere, called Finland. You may have heard of it?

The place where all Finns dress in jumpsuits all year long and polar bears roam the streets. Penguins and other arctic dwellers are as familiar house pets as a cat or a dog. These Finns talk in funny accents and drink lots of coffee. They drive like nuts, because rally is in their bloods. They sit naked in the middle of freezing cold in a lake or a pond. In return, they have this dark small lodge, called the Sauna, where they sit naked in a hundred degree heat. Then later in July, when the sun comes out once a year, the complain about a twenty degree heat.

Yes, you know who they are! Welcome to Hell-sinki!

Full Moon over Suburbia (Daily Photo 2016-01-11)

Full moon tonight
Shining, ever so bright
Hanging over suburbia
Fair warning for slight
Hysteria

September in Suburbia, Part Seven

September in Suburbia, Part Seven

Night time in Suburbia
There is no time for hysteria
Streetlights the only spots of bright
Against the darkest of night
Sidewalks empty and quiet
A few signs marked private
Walking past the darkened windows
Occupants asleep, dreaming of tomorrow
The moon hiding behind clouds
No one to see, no one to watch
So, stepping on the grass is allowed
If I through away my crutch
Take a little chance
And do a little barefoot dance
In the middle of the night
On the streest of Suburbia
