Bread and Circuses
For any and all purposes
Lights and fireworks
Maybe with some quirks

No time to waste
It is time to celebrate
Let us all unite
Leave our differences, aside

The New Year
We hail
Following
A different trail
Past and present
Already spent
To the future
From now on
We all ascend
