In the Woods for Daily Photo (continued)
Be careful, where you tread
The path treacherous before you
Will lead you to the nature’s stew
And soon enough,
You wish you would have stayed at home instead

“Ah, September! You are the doorway to the season that awakens my soul… but I must confess that I love you only because you are a prelude to my beloved October.”

September Leaves for Daily Photo
Leaves of summer
Now leaves of fall
In colourful schemes
Or so it seems
For not too long
Will they go strong
Onto the ground
Their way will be found
And with the groundskeeper’s rake
Into a tall mound
Eventually transforming
Slowly metamorphosing
Catching sleep
Oh so very deep
Through the white winter
Not even a splinter
Can be found
But slowly when Spring time
They come a live
And fill the trees
With all new leaves

“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.”
― Henry James
Last Day of Summer for Daily Photo
Last day of Summer
Oh, what a bummer
Next stop, Autumn
Not so much fun
Beginning of September
Nothing, to remember
Or maybe, just maybe
The season of rainy
Can be fun,
After all?

Day Three: “Water” — Image Orientation
* We all have stories about water: how it has saved or defeated us. How it reminds us of family vacations, outdoor adventures, or the hot summers of our childhood. How it symbolizes a place we’ve left behind, or one we dream of visiting.
Water
“I’m an instant star. Just add water and stir” David Bowie
Drip Drop
“Drip drop
Drip drop…”
“This will not stop,
Before my ears will pop!
Damned pretty rain drops!”
“Drip drop
Drip drop…”

Sparkly
Sparkling tiny drops
Onto the leaf they popped

Sea Otter
“More water,
I need more water”
Said the sea otter
As he played with Flotter
Getting even more hotter
“Waiter,
Where is that damned water?
I made the order
At least ten minutes ago!”
