“This must be Thursday.
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.”

“Do you consider yourself lucky?”

She asked and turned towards Chucky,
Who was standing there mouth agape
Like he’d just seen a really odd ducky

“I guess…”

Chucky managed to stutter,
Pondering what next to utter
As the gorgeous sunset
Had his heart in a state of flutter
But soon, managed to recover
And out loud to only whisper

“Yes, I am very lucky”

Continuing staring
Up high
Into the red sky,
Still flaring

Did you catch the last rays?
Did you see them fade away,
Into the night sky?
Did you wish you could fly?
If you are asking why,
Then, this must be Thursday!

So just run for your lives
Before you get the wintery hives”

Down, down, down
The snow again came
Filling the open drain

Then Snow Came

A multitude of flakes
Leaving in its wake
Even filling, a very large lake
