Mother’s Day Rose

“To all mothers in the world, a rose” Gun Roswell

Mother’s Day Rose

A day of celebration for most
That is why I have made this post
To convey all the wishes of best
To the mothers where ever they may nest

Life can be a bit of a bitch
But today, I hope you will pretty sit
Showered with love and devotion
At least sent a message with a notion:
Of caring so much
They wanted to be in touch
At least on this special day
But then again, it should be that everyday!

So here is my message for you all:
Love your mother, mom, mum, what ever you may her call
She won’t be around forever
So try to make this day for her that much better!

Mother of the Day

“God could not be everywhere,
and therefore he made mothers”
Rudyard Kipling

Mother of the Day

A Mother is pretty
A Mother is witty
A Mother is sometimes shitty

A Mother is all knowing
A Mother is easy going
A Mother is exploding

A Mother is loving
A Mother is giving
A Mother is bluffing

A Mother is organized
A Mother is stylized
A Mother is sometimes unwise

A Mother is, simply my Mother

Atop of the World, Mom!

Viewing,
The ancient ruins
From the top, of the mountain
The views,
Sometimes haunting
But never daunting

Atop of the World, Mom!

On the top of the roof
Acting quite aloof
Searching for some proof
Of existence beyond the marble
As the people’s stare will never stop
At the tall white statues marvel
On the building, atop

Atop of the World, Mom!

Fully glass plated houses
All the way up to the very top
This is no place for louses
Nothing hidden, nothing secret
But soon enough, some regrets
As the gazes will never stop

Atop of the World, Mom!

Climb the steps
All the way to the top
They may take out your breath
But there is no feeling better
Than that of the atop

Atop of the World, Mom!

“Top of the world Ma!
Soon enough anyway!
At least, before I get to say
‘ha-ha’!”

As I shouted out loud, the lift started to sway
Hauling me and my derrière, high up on its way

Atop of the World, Mom!

Views, of the top windows
Sun reflected, between the floors
Everything visible, through the open doors
Did I miss something
You had hoped to score?

Atop of the World, Mom!

Sunshine on the canvas
Remember, where this place was?
Faded memories it may cause
Maybe grievance of a loss
But then, just stare into the sun
And remember, all the fun

Who is Gun Roswell?

The year was nineteen sixty eight
Life still at stage wait
I must have been no more
Than three years of age

Little Red Riding Hood
Yes, I knew I could
In the borrowed red elf’s hat
Cutest thing you ever saw
Prettiest princess of them all
How could I ever top that!

Now, forty seven years later
Oh life, you’re such a traitor!
I still love red of course
Now I wear it with horns
In the mighty stiletto heels
Life is as good as it feels
