Beach season is open

“The beach, is empty? What is going on?” Gun Roswell

 Finding an empty sun bed
 On this tine beach end
Did not seem so difficult today
What a pleasant surprise, I said
As I hauled my weary ass
 Off from the green grass

Into the middle of the sandy beach
 Choosing the best seat
 Laying my fat tired head
On to the sunny side bed
Finally enjoying the peace and quiet
As long as anyone will me let

Nature’s Bounty

“There are flowers and berries and lots of things to cherish!” Gun Roswell

The last warm days
Before the cold rains
It is time to prepare
But do not despair
Summer may be ending
The nature surely changing
Soon it will be autumn
But the colours
Will be awesome

A Day spent in Nature

“Nature can be most gorgeous, or dangerous, but more so, gorgeous” Gun Roswell

Sitting on a swing
Not worrying about a thing
Enjoying the simple life
Without a stinger or a strife
The air almost like silk
Time slowly passing by
Not one trouble in sight

Observing, watching, looking
What is nearby cooking

The hedgehog sipping it’s milk
The squirrel with it’s tail high
A bird gliding in mid flight
The flowers in the wind crooking

The clouds hanging softly in the sky
Exhaling, letting out a sigh
The last rays of sun on the skin
What a perfect fin
For a July summer’s day
The grass in a gentle sway

Blue Moment Descends

“The moment not lasting too long, the blue hues of nature, just before the setting sun, is a total wonder” Gun Roswell

Blue Moment Descends

Something old
Something new
Something stolen
Something blue
A moment in time
Forever frozen
Captured
By an image
In the mind’s eye
And possibly
Forever
In bits and bytes

Something about… snow?

“Snow, snow, snow and then some” Gun Roswell

Something about… snow?

Trees,
Without leaves
Pines,
Without vines
Snow
An equalizer

Winter cold and white but harmonious

“Winter’s art painted across the lands, stays on display, never bland, until it’s time to fade away” Gun Roswell

Winter cold and white but harmonious

Cold, white and monochrome
Nature silent under the snowy dome
But, when the sun paints a triple rainbow
The beauty will bring you to an awe

The Forest covered in Snow

“The silence has descended upon nature this winter” Gun Roswell

The Forest covered in Snow

Forest filled with snow
Branches hanging low
Life still or very slow
It’s winter; Hello!?

Frozen in time for the Season

“The time for sleep for nature is upon” Gun Roswell

Frozen in time for the Season

Frozen,
In space and time
Leaves,
In dozen a dime

The snow cover, just like sprinkled powder

“The snow fell upon the land, covering it all, with a white blanket, soft, but cold and well, guess that is all” Gun Roswell

The snow cover, just like sprinkled powder

The bluish hue when the night falls upon the land on the shores

The snow having softly made a landing, now covering it all

Not just the land though, but also the newly iced over waterfall

The sparkly waters only yesterday roaring with life

Now simply frozen by the temperatures plummeted over night

It’s a pretty sight though, no matter the cold

And for those, loving the winter activities, feeling bold

Can get out there with their skis, skates and whatever else daring

Because soon enough, it will get either too cold or too warm

To really enjoy the scenery and the soft and sparkling snow

So, getting up and out there, no matter if liking it or not

Just try to go with the flow and enjoy, well, the snow

Fluffy snowy things out there of plenty

“There is so much snow out there right now, it seems to be of an endless supply and piles upon piles of the stuff gets everywhere!“ Gun Roswell

Fluffy snowy things out there of plenty

The snow just keeps on pouring down, sometimes souring and roaring, sometimes more calm. The piles upon piles are forming, all kinds of nice figures and things, for the onlooker to simply guess and imagine, what they are seeing. Sometimes they look like simple snow upon whatever surface they landed, but other times, forming all kinds of statuesque looking art works, as if someone had designed them just on the go for show.

But most of all, the small things outside on the window sill, are those ones most to admire as they look so totally delicate, that even daring to breathe close to them would cause them to collapse. The tiny flakes, separate but together in one place, are the fading art of the winter, delivered to us for this special time, only to fade away, when the spring returns, and before that time, a friendly reminder to just admire the art work, take a few snaps, before you work and be happy of the changing views of the day, as it could be much worse, or then again, maybe not.
