The sunset and the beach

“The cliche of the sunset? Well, it just gets me every time. I simply love it!” Gun Roswell

The sunset and the beach

Hanging on the sandy beach late in the eve, watching as the last rays are trying to reach each and every surface. Reflections on the glass blurring, the last rays of the brightly lit sun fading as the darkness is slowly but gently taking over the light of day. But for a moment they will still stay, frozen in mid air and everywhere, painting the skies in all the colours, then ending in bright red, before the time of returning once again, to their respective beds.

One final glance, one final chance to catch the gorgeous display before it has gone, disbursed into the fading glow leaving the night to take over. But there is no worries for the onlooker however, as a guaranteed scene of similar magnitude will return again after this night and the next day is over, a new spectacle will be there and give that same sensation the observers do yearn, a gift from Mother Nature, for all of us worshippers of her great skills coming out to play and throwing a sunset party each and every day again and again.

So thank you and see you, later!

Autumn and the nightfall

“Watching the skies, for what ever up there, might just fly by; birds, dinosaurs, airplanes, ufos, they really are all, quite interesting“ Gun Roswell

Autumn and the nightfall

The skies started, to slowly turn, from a plain and dull grey
With the appearance, of some, quite unexpected lights of rays
As it was such a pleasant surprise, and thus saving, the day

It was after all, close, to the days end, and the night fall
Where the time, for a blink, of an eye of a moment, stalls
And all of us mere mortals down here, standing, ever, so small
Awaiting, for that one spectacle, promised, since early morn’

Good things come to those, who dare to wait in line
And, as keeping on gazing up, into the deep and darkening skies
What do these tired and old vision goggles finally, do spy
But a gorgeous painting, forming, right there, before the very eyes

As the performance of the clouds, lights and stars, high in the skies
Begin their nightly dance, with a slow pace, almost a state of trance
Before all of us small beings, who consider themselves, devoted fans

Wednesday in October Part Two: Evening

The evening falls
The sun is setting
Soon it is time to crawl
Into the bedding
But before that
Taking a few snaps
Of the setting sun

September Moon

The view from my room
A beautiful crescent moon
Lighting the dark night sky
How I would love to fly
High up, up there
Into the stratosphere
And visit the man on the moon
Like shown in the cartoon

“Keep looking up! I learn from the past, dream about the future and look up. There’s nothing like a beautiful sunset to end a healthy day” Rachel Boston

September Sunset

The evening sky painted red
Unfortunately it was time for bed
But chose to go out instead
And admire the colourful display
Mother nature had sprayed
From her can of colourful paint
Snapped a few pix
Just for the kicks
Before the nightly eclipse
