Dinner Time (The Daily Post)
Food is good
Food is great
Especially of a nice taste
Do enjoy
Have a feast
But not in a haste
And nothing waste
Ladies and Gentlemen
Dinner, is served!

7 Days of Nature Photo Challenge: Day One: On the Rocks
Against the smoothed rocks
Is the water happily splashing
High in the air go flying my crocks
When I’m barefoot in the sand dashing
Close to the water’s edge
I once again my allegiance pledge
Wowing, this year my toe to dip
Even if it means biting the lip
Come high hell or cold water
Because it may never get hotter
In the ocean I will swim
Even if my eyesight will dim
After all, it is Spring Time!

“Welcome to the dark side”
Dark Side of the Odd (Mundane Monday)
There in the corner it stood
Like something from the tales of the odd
Or maybe, it was just misunderstood

“If you immediately know the candlelight is fire, then the meal was cooked a long time ago” Oma Desala
Candlelight (SL-WEEK)
The clock strikes close to midnight
Basking in the glow of the candlelight
Staring into the fire’s might
Conjuring up images on what to write
After all, this is the nightly rite
And the eternal fight
For a writer, up in the late hours of the night
