“Where’s the honey?” Gun Roswell
Bee keeper
The bee has finally landed
Onto the deck, for some well deserved
Rest, but where’s the honey?

“Invest in apples, they beat the crap out of doctors” Gun Roswell
Apple invested
I invested in a red apple
Eating it the very first day, then
I went and bought more
Now I have apple in
All formats imaginable, fresh, dried, sauce, jam
No, it’s really no scam
An apple a day, may
Keep some doctors away, but better than
That, they taste real great
Eat the nature’s divine gift
Eat it inside, outside or in the lift
You cannot go very wrong

“Alone at last” Gun Roswell
Alone
The last of the colours
The last of its kind, remaining until
Gone forever since it’s time
It hang there for a
While, changing its colours with the seasons
Clinging on for dear life
In wind and rain and
Storms, even pouring snow falls but now
It is time to say goodbye

“Let’s see what lies beyond the final frontier” Gun Roswell
Alien world
Stepping inside the image, of
An alien world, at least to me
The colour palette, like something
From a child’s colouring book
Leaving the real world behind, entering whit
An open mind, never looking
Back, there is no return
Once the door closes, but I am
Determined to spend my life
Exploring this wondrous and dangerous
World, on my own, maybe meeting with
Some natives, who really knows

“The tiniest of trucks, does the job” Gun Roswell
Tiny truck
Tiny truck, often was mocked
For being so small, what could it
Really haul? The others kept
It taunting, almost to a
Point of haunting, until one day it
Had had enough, it got
Really tough, went out to
Get a big pack of stuff, so
Big, it almost was lost
Under the great big haul
But alas, with a huff and puff
The tiny truck, proved them
All, who really really wrong
They had been and until this day
The heroics are told by
The tiny truck that could

“So many seats to choose from” Gun Roswell
A seat in black and white
On a sunny day
In a near by cafe
Sitting down
In down town
Sipping on the coffee
Eat a slice of toffee
People passing by
That is just fine
It is still good to unwind
After speeding the dime
All day shopping
And street hopping
Maybe even a nap
You can afterward catch

“That looks like a gateway to the past” Gun Roswell
Open the gateway
The gateway on to the
Beach appeared, out of nowhere, in a
Flash of light, it was
Standing there, where nothing before
It existed. Now it is open wide
For anyone to enter, if you
Really dare, then take a
Leap and jump back in time into
The past of all time
Just remember, you may not
Get back, but that is a risk
Well worth taking, so stop
Your shaking and take the
Step, one small step for mankind and
Who knows what you’ll find

“Hey, you, are you looking at me?” Gun Roswell
Whatcha looking at
What the hell are you
Looking at? Is there something wrong in
The way I appear to
You? Would you want me
To change something in my appearance perhaps
Or just my face huh?
I don’t like people staring
I don’t enjoy them throwing food at
Me either, so stop now!
I am not a cow
But a really gorgeous Swan, you see
No? Just look at my
Reflection on the water’s surface
I am so damned good looking, no
One here in my kingdom
Dare to challenge me, or
Is it you, who will be the one?
Then I say: game on!

“On the green pond, I sit and ponder” Gun Roswell
Pond
The flowers at the pond
Quietly on the waters calm surface flow
Nothing stirs them, nothing moves
Until a gust of wind
Makes a motion, causing all of them
To start towards each other
Flow, soon finding patterns only
Limited by my own imagination, nature’s tools of
Art best used here, now
