My Glasses
I can see through you
You seem to have a clear view
I would be lost and having strife
Or at least stumbling through life
Like a blind person needing a cane
Or an actor without the fame
Using my own vernacular
I shout out loud
My glasses oh so spectacular
Would even make Dame Edna proud

Good things
Do come in threes
A piece of chocolate
A pretty flower
Even wishes
If you do believe

The colour pink
It’s more than just ink
It may be a chosen lifestyle
Or just some clothes in a pile
Don’t put me on a file
Just because for a while
I chose to wear the colour
Stay out late and holler
Wearing a short skirt
A well earned perk
Naturally, all in pink
And very much in sync
The illusion complete

Pink makes you happy
And certainly more chatty
Some say you are batty
And even slightly tacky
But they might just be crabby
Because they do not wear pink
