“Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it” Ernest Holmes
Mirror Mirror
I feel pretty
And so witty
I am slender
Yet curvy
Guess my gender?
It’s green

Public transit, oh what joy!
But, before you shout ahoy
Read this story of ploy…

En route by Train (Daily Photo) One
Public transit, oh what joy!
But, before you shout ahoy
Read this story of ploy
Early morning in January
I was really in a hurry
The venue was set in the city
And feeling a little giddy
After all travelling by train
Was not something to do in vain
Especially in the middle of winter
With temperatures below zero
And myself certainly no sprinter
And even less of a hero
Reaching the train station
After half jogging the way
Then I heard the notification
The train had been delayed
No indication as to arrival time
But they told us, all was fine
Just a minor snafu
The train would be there in a few
A few minutes went by
On the platform standing by
Then after a while
Waiting for the train to arrive
I was wishing I had taken the car
I would have been so very far
Oh what fun and joy!
Toes, fingers and nose freezing
The snow storm’s intensity increasing
Now I know, this was a winter’s ploy!

Travel in London, Rhodes, Verbania and Helsinki
Travelling through foreign lands reminds me of travelling through times. The history present no matter where you go. Ancient buildings and monuments, whispering their secrets of ages past, reminding us, we are not here to last.

Welcome to up North
Where the polar bears roam…

Welcome, to the city that never sleeps
Well, actually, we like to go to bed really early….
Ok, one more time:
Welcome to Helsinki!
A quaint little town up North
I am sure you will enjoy!
That’s it?
Yes, what’s wrong?
Nothing, sounds a little dull…
Well, let’s let the travellers decide!
