A response to Sylvain’s challenge theme of Orange
“An orange on the table, your dress on the rug, and you in my bed, sweet present of the present, cool of night, warmth of my life” Jacques Prevert
Orange, One
The gorgeous sunrises and sunsets surrounded by orange halos, were shot on the beautiful sunny island of Rhodes, Greece.

“Never trust a computer you can’t throw out a window” Steve Wozniak
Window View
In the early morning hours
As I am jumping into my car
I look out the window
Only to find the moon
Brightening my path
Arriving at the office
To an early morning meeting
I left without eating
So just coffee must do
As I listen to the others
Playing their part
In this life we know as office
I let my eyes wander
Towards the closest window
Only to find
A most beautiful sunrise
Sky painted red
But here inside instead
The only view for me
Is through the peephole
Known as a window
But oh, what a view
In honour of Caturday, for all cats everywhere

“You know, from my point of view, I’m the luckiest cat on the planet” Hugh Hefner
Caturday, 2015-11-07
The cat in the mirror
The sleek feline figure
Eyes blue as sapphire
Her spirit filled with fire
Herself does she admire

Thursday (Daily Photo 2016-01-28) One
Thursday
Not a pretty day
The lack of sun
Cannot be fun
The icy cold mist
Does nothing to enlist
To the fan base
Of this common day
Also known
As Thursday
Oh, but look!
There might be hope
In the horizon
The sun is arising!
All hail
It’s Thursday!

This week show us something you’re optimistic about, or perhaps a talisman that helps you stay positive and hopeful, regardless of what life (and the weather!) throws your way.

Optimistic (The Daily Post) Five
The cup
Is always
Half full
The liquid
May run out
For a time
But sooner
And not later
It will be
Filled up
Again

Winter?
So what!
I don’t care!
I am feeling
Quite optimistic
Riding my bike
Sitting on a bench
So what if it snows
It’s almost June!

Optimistic (The Daily Post) Three
The hustle and bustle
The busy working life
Because I have
Holiday on my mind
And soon it will be time
To unwind

Sunshine on a winter’s day
The nature’s showing a halo
The cold and snow to fade
And soon, it will be May
