Fire in the Sky (Daily Photo 2016-01-14)

The sky
Supposedly blue
Now
The colour
Of a rosy hue
Fluffiest
Of clouds
Painting
A red shroud
The sun is
About to rise

If you see the sunset, does it have to mean something? If you hear the birds singing does it have to have a message?” Robert Wilson

Saturday Sunset, Part Two

An ordinary Saturday
On a December’s eve
Stepping into a sleigh
For a ride to leave
On a track
To watch the sunset
The colours a reminder
Of the season’s binder

“I envy people who can just look at a sunset. I wonder how you can shoot it. There is nothing more grotesque to me than a vacation” Dustin Hoffman

Saturday Sunset, Part One

“The sky is on fire, the sky is on fire!”

The peasant from the ancient times shouted
As the red clouds into the skies sprouted
Running as fast as he could
Before the skies on him fall would

Simply out of fear
Not knowing of the beauty so near
Shivering in his cellar
Like an old yellar

Some hundreds years later
Not a sunset hater
Eagerly awaiting
A sunset most breathtaking

“You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars” Gary Allan

Early Morning Sunrise with Crescent Moon, Daily Photo 2015-12-07, Part Three

The storms have finally passed
The moon its light trying to cast
The sun pushing its way with a blast
Daylight waving its flag in the mast
Oh how I wish this forever could last
But only for a passing moment
Then it’s all over way too fast
Darkness has covered the skies alas

“Last Wednesday, I stupidly dropped my iPhone in the bath, and my life has sort of spiraled almost out of control” Patrick Stewart

Wednesday, 18th of November, Part Two

Today, Wednesday

Really early morning
I woke up
Showered
Looked out the window
It was getting lighter
Sunrise!
Snapped a few pics

Drove to the office
The sunrise in full
Hurried to the pier
Snapped a few pics

Worked, worked, worked
Had a lunch break
In the late afternoon
Had great food
Snapped a few pics

Worked some more
Had a coffee break
And had a…
Few more cups of coffee
Snapped a few pics
Of the coffee that is

Working day ended
It was really dark outside
The decor was nicely lit
Snapped a few pics

Drove back home
Posted some blogs
Went to sleep
Dreaming of tomorrow

It will be Thursday…

Tuesday, 17th of November

Today, Tuesday

Really early morning
I woke up
Showered
Today, home office day
Looked out the window
It was pouring and dark
Snapped a few pics

Worked some more
Had a snack break
It was still raining
Snapped a few pics

Worked some more
Had a coffee break
The weather cleared
Snapped a few pics

Working day ended
Drove to water aerobics
The sun was setting
Painting the sky red
Odd, it would show up
A little before disappearing

From Sunrise to Sunset, Part Two: Daytime

Leaves have fallen on the ground
The sun hanging low in the horizon
The warm colours painting the trees
The warm red as far as eye can see
November’s day cool and crispy
The weather maybe a little misty
